UK & Ireland 500 Club Life List Record Form
The UK400 Club has published a fully revised Life List record form today so that birders can manually rather than electronically complete their British and Ireland life lists. The forms can be printed off and returned.
European Eagle Owl has been added to Category C from 1st September 2007 and joins Egyptian Goose, Mandarin Duck, Ruddy Duck, Common Pheasant, Golden Pheasant, Lady Amherst’s Pheasant, Red-legged Partridge, Ring-necked Parakeet and Little Owl in this category. The feral population may number as many as 105 birds and is slowly increasing.
Monk Parakeet, Blue-crowned Parakeet and Black-headed Laughing Thrush are added to Category C2 (introduced species with feral populations less than 100 birds) whilst Sacred Ibis, Chilean Flamingo, Australian Black Swan and Bar-headed Goose remain on C1 (continental introductions with self-supporting populations considered to be responsible for some British records).
